Vejer de la Frontera is one of those typical towns you imagine when you think of Spain – white buildings on a hillside with winding streets, sunny squares and incredible views.
This ‘pueblo blanco’ is located in the south of Spain in Andalusia, where the sun almost always shines and the locals are very friendly.
It has escaped much of the mass tourism so really offers the visitor a very ‘spanish’ experience.
The coast is around a 20-minute drive away, with the town of Conil de la Frontera easily accessible and the ancient city of Cadiz can be reached in less than an hour.
The beaches around this part of the coast are stunning and are great for water sports including Scuba diving and kite-surfing – which you can combine with your Spanish course!
Our school in Vejer occupies an historic building, next to the ancient town walls.
There is a rooftop terrace, 8 well-equipped classrooms, an Internet café and library.
After lessons, you can unwind in the school’s own garden, or on one of its two shaded patio areas.
