Position:

Work Placement (Internship) Marketing Assistant

The Company:

Estudio Hispanico is a web-based language Travel Agency, located in Barcelona, selling Spanish language courses in Spain to clients from all over the world, predominantly over the Internet. We also publish a colour brochure each year, containing details of our Spanish courses in Spain.

Our offices are located in the centre of Barcelona, just 500 metres from Plaza Catalunya. All our employees have university degrees and most are aged in their mid to late twenties. Our current employees are from England, Spain, Italy, Holland, Switzerland and Sweden. The office is an English-speaking environment. However, when communicating with our clients and our partner schools in Spain, we use English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch or Swedish, as required.

Principal tasks:

The Marketing Assistant will be involved in assisting with general office tasks, supporting our sales team, plus communicating with clients, by e–mail and telephone.

Training:

No knowledge of websites, or previous experience of Internet marketing is required.

Full training will be given.

However, the Marketing Assistant does need to be fluent in their native language and have a reasonable command of English.

A knowledge of Spanish is also useful.

By the time that they have completed their internship with this company, the work placement student will have acquired invaluable knowledge as regards how to a successful Internet marketing company operates, as well as a general knowledge of the language travel industry. They may also have improved their English language skills, from working in an English-speaking environment and Spanish language skills, from living in Barcelona.

They will also have acquired a useful knowledge of Internet marketing techniques.

Duration of Work Placement:

Minimum of 4 months, up to 9 months.

Working Hours:

All company employees normally work a 40-hour week, Monday-Friday.
